Returns, refunds, and how we handle them.

The 90-night guarantee
Take Walter's for 90 nights from the date of delivery. If you're not satisfied, return any portion of the bottle (full, half-empty, or empty) for a full refund of the product price. We provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.
To start a guarantee return, email support@waltersapothecary.com with your order number. We respond within one business day with the prepaid label.
Refunds are processed within 5 business days of us receiving the return. Original shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable. Free shipping orders are refunded in full for the product price.
Standard returns (beyond 90 nights)
Unopened bottles in original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product price. Customer is responsible for return shipping in standard returns. Email support@waltersapothecary.com to start a standard return.
Damaged or defective items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or with the wrong contents, email us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. We replace damaged items at no cost — no return required for damaged goods.
Lost or stolen packages
If tracking shows your package as delivered but you didn't receive it, email us within 14 days. We replace lost packages at no cost. We do not require a police report.
Subscriptions
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect immediately for any orders not yet processed. Orders that have already been packaged for shipment cannot be cancelled but can be returned under the 90-night guarantee or standard return policy above.
How refunds are issued
Refunds go back to the original payment method used at checkout. Most cards display the credit within 5–7 business days of refund processing. Bank transfers may take longer. If you don't see the credit within 10 business days of our 'refund processed' email, contact us and we'll investigate with the payment processor.
Excluded
- Original shipping costs (if you paid them)
- Returns initiated more than 90 days after delivery for opened bottles
- Returns initiated more than 30 days after delivery for unopened bottles
- Items returned without prior contact (we may not be able to identify your order)
